The pantry-first cooking app for Android.

Brimm is built native for Android — Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material You theming. It's not a port. It's not a webview. It's the most Android-feeling cooking app on Play Store.

What Brimm does

Open your fridge. Take a photo. Brimm pulls every label, every package, every produce item into a single ingredient list using vision OCR. Then it surfaces recipes from a 28,000-item catalog that actually match what you have. No "go buy 12 things" recipes. No typing. No store run.

Plus a vintage cocktail bar with 4,000+ drinks, half of them transcribed from pre-prohibition manuscripts (Jerry Thomas 1862, Boothby 1908, Ensslin 1917). No other Android app spans both food and the historical bar.

What's in Brimm for Android

Vision OCR pantry scan

One photo of your fridge or pantry. Every ingredient extracted automatically. (Pro)

Pantry-match swipe deck

Tinder for tonight's dinner. Swipe right on what looks good, ranked by what's about to expire.

28,000 recipes

Food and cocktails. Every recipe ranked on real cook performance.

Voice cook mode

"Next step." "How long?" Hands-free walkthrough while you cook. (Pro)

Vintage cocktail bar

Bootlegger mode shows the 1860–1920 originals on dark parchment. Mixologist mode for modern specs.

Family sharing

Share pantry, meal plan, and shopping list with your household. (Pro)

Waste-dollar dashboard

Track what you saved (and what you tossed) week over week. (Pro)

Material You

Native Compose UI that adapts to your phone's wallpaper colors. Looks like Android, not a port.

Why Android first

Android-first wasn't a marketing decision; it was an engineering one. The Compose toolkit is genuinely the best mobile UI framework right now, and Material You's dynamic color system is what lets the cuisine-tinted recipe cards work at scale. A native Android implementation gives Brimm a rendering pipeline that pure cross-platform apps can't match.

iOS follows in late summer 2026.

Pricing for Android
